Last Day at TI
Well, I've been here for just over eight months, and I still think that this is the right decision for me. Even so, it's still a little bit hard to let go, a little bit tricky to really admit that I'm making that leap from job to job, a little bit challenging to trust that the other job will still be there when I land...
In the meantime, it's a bit of a game of "hunt the contact information" as I try to fill out a background investigation form. I've got almost everything that I need, but there are still a few gaps here and there that I haven't been able to find people who knew me (I didn't know anyone in 2002 when I was living in Mannassas for the summer, for instance! I had a roommate, but we haven't been in contact since then...)
But I'm sure something will turn up. I'm excited about this new opportunity and I'm looking forward to the challenges that it is going to present*
*I just hope it doesn't present them all right away...
