Lumbering along...

So I mentioned in my last post that I'm hoping to start doing some woodworking. I'm very excited about this, but my plan has run into a minor hitch of sorts: I'm not sure where to get materials!
So I'm looking for recommendations as to whether there are any places in northern VA that I'd be able to get wood for projects. So far I've found the 84 Lumber Co. in Manassas. Any other suggestions? (or personal experiences with the 84 Lumber Co. as to whether they're any good? :) I did a brief look-around at Home Depot the other day, but it seemed like their selection, with the exception of pine 2x4-type wood and pre-textured paneling, was rather sparse... though maybe that's just because I didn't spend enough time looking.
