This morning I dreamt that I was back in my parents' house with my family. Suddenly a huge storm blew up outside, with drops of rain so fat that you could see them even though they were being blown almost sideways by the wind. It thrashed the trees around and lightning flashes lit the sky brightly. Then we were outside in it, and the strangest part happened. We were in the backyard, and my youngest brother was in the field behind the house. Suddenly, a huge lightning bold struck the electrical fence between our backyard and the field, but instead of just flashing and disappearing, it kept going, a massive glowing pillar of electricity, dancing slowly along the fence. It went back and forth once between the two wooden posts supporting the fence before abruptly vanishing. My youngest brother began climbing under the electric fence to get back to the yard, and I was worried that the lightning might come back (but not really a lot; somehow I didn't think it would actually hit him enough to hurt him). Then the alarm went off and woke me up.
