Going Home From Home

It's been a marvelous week, and I am very sad that it has to end, but the time has come for me to depart my beloved midwest and return once again to my home on the eastern seaboard (though perhaps it is slightly hyperbolic of me to refer to it as such as I've not yet seen the ocean, except when I've visited Dad in New York, in the almost four years that I've been living there ^_^)
It's one of those bittersweet things. It will be good to be back in my own bed, but... I miss this place when I am not here. That probably would be less true if I visited more often, but I don't and it isn't. ~grin~ And it doesn't help that we've spent three of the past four evenings having a grand time playing Munchkin together...
Also, as a heads-up, I've gotten a haircut. Nothing terribly drastic--it's still past my shoulders. Just a couple inches less past my shoulders than it used to be. The ends were getting quite unruly--hopefully this will help get things under control again (and even more hopefully, if I start actually going and getting it trimmed every couple of months, I won't have to keep dropping back to this length every time...)
Okay, starting to ramble, should get back to trying to make sure I've forgotten as few things as possible.
