Home For The Holidays
Dec. 21st, 2007 01:41 amTraveled home yesterday. Arrived safely, with only one or two minor glitches (plane landed an hour late due to inclement weather and an extra de-icing cycle when it was leaving Maine to come pick us up). Spent a good chunk of today being lazy. Realized that I have a really fascinating definition of lazy, since I:
Yeah... lazy... No wonder I always get so overwhelmed when I think it's time to buckle down and stop procrastinating. There's gotta be a better way for me to interleave "high priority" stuff in with those other things in a way that will help me feel less like doing those other things is a waste of time. ~wry~
- Did some unpacking
- Set up the Wii
- Made some Byzantine chain (unfortunately I don't think the inner-diameter:gauge ratio is going to really work...)
- Researched the idea of using a Wiimote to give a computer a multipoint touchscreen
- Brainstormed some ideas for creating Kumihimo bobbins
- Went shopping and managed to hunt down (on the fourth try) a Wii Nunchuck (I wasn't able to find mine before leaving yesterday... suspect I may have left it in Springfield)
- Acquired a stool to make a Marudai
- Played chauffeur for my brother and father on the way home from the shopping expedition
- Made some serious progress in Super Metroid, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Kirby's Adventure (and entertained various other family members while doing so... ^_^)
