The New Arrival

As planned, fortryll and I have a new companion. She is an approximately-seven-month old albino hedgehog, and she's incredibly cute. Her name is Hazel. She was a bit nervous when we first got back, exploring her new home and the strange furry creatures that inhabit it. The cats were incredibly well behaved, with the exception of one who tried to find out what she felt like a few times, and even he got the hint after a couple of squirts with the spray bottle. I'm taking it as a very good sign that she never felt so threatened that she had to curl up into a ball to protect herself, and that she ate the mealworms that we gave her after exploring her cage for an hour or two.

All in all, I think she'll do just fine :)

We did get some pictures, but we haven't yet gotten them off the camera to share with you all yet. Hopefully we'll take care of that shortly after Arisia ^_^
