I do get parking, but I'll probably take the VRE anyway since I'm not a big fan of the whole driving thing.
I should clarify that, while I don't dislike my boss or coworkers as people, it is difficult for me to work with them because they are always so wound up about things (understandable, since they've been behind since before I started and are still trying to catch up). It's exhausting for me to go to staff meetings, just watching them. This, I think, is the root reason that I want to find somewhere else and this is why I don't think they will convince me to stay; even if they were able to give me the other things, I doubt they would be able to give me a relaxed workspace. I'm not sure I mentioned this in my main post, but I've talked to some of the employees of this company and they've told me that their offices are comparably much, much calmer than my current office. One of them mentioned that he looks forward to going to work. If there's even a chance of me getting a job where I wake up in the morning and think, "Wow, it's Wednesday and I've got some great stuff waiting for me at the office" I have got to take it.
I'm not quite ready to tell the name of the company yet. I don't know that it makes a difference, but I'm going to play it a little safe for now. I'll probably let you all know it once I've fully accepted the position.
