Quick Weekend Overview

tcepsaAll in all, I'd say this weekend was pretty good. Got some progress made on the shawl I'm knitting for Mother's Day. Got some packing done in preparation for the move. Got to go thrift shopping (got a book and some of those little glass spice bottles--they were too cute not to, and I like the idea of using them to hold electronics components ;) Got some good solid computer time, though this was marred by the fact that my brand shiny new video card has issues with my system. I may have to deal with trying to return/exchange it soon. I'd like to do a little more testing on a different system, to try to determine whether it is the card or my configuration. If it is my card, then it goes back to the manufacturer to be repaired/replaced. If it is my configuration, then the card goes back to the retailer and I try to find something more compatible.
Managed to come in second in a game of Settlers of Catan and played my first game of Robo Rally, which is basically about as fun as it gets for me because I'm such a programming geek. It was also cool to hang out with the people there, especially since I hadn't seen some of them sinceblushing_grace's birthday (if I remember right).
Sunday I got in a lot of computer time (specifically: I won Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow--now to see whether I can beat it as Julius ^_^) I'm also having a lot of fun with Morrowind; I just wish that the new videocard worked... ;) Ended the day with a bit of cleaning and cuddling, and that is always a wonderful thing :)
