I've done that. I also will do clicks (or teeth clinches if I'm trying to be quieter) and 'count' or mark each crack I see (in a wall etc)

~laugh~ Exactly! And I realized that I have a tendency to pace when I'm outside of my building talking to someone on my cellphone. But I don't just pace; I either follow the cracks separating the blocks of the sidewalk (they've got nifty diagonals that make it even more fun) or avoid the cracks and step just on the concrete...
