Looks like Google has decided to make things much less ambiguous; effectively, they truncated section 11.1 of the Chrome EULA to be "You keep all of your rights to your content, period."

Date: 2008-09-05 06:02 pm (UTC)I expect a lot of people were in a state of, "We said WHAT?" When that got noticed - and rather expect that most of the dev crew had a bit of a snit. I'm still a little leary of the suggested sites function - but that can be turned off.
Not evil - just occasionally clunky and finger 2&3 not always aware of what finger 4 is doing.
