Truth in Advertising?

As I was perusing the CNN website this morning to see the news, I noticed an ad with the following text:

"CNN.com. The power of CNN under your command.

Take command. Click here to watch commercials."

The first thought that came to my mind was, "Why would anyone click a button that invited them to watch commercials?" The second thought was, "Is it time for another Superbowl already?" And the third thought was, "Why are they advertising for themselves on their own site?"

Strange But Good

This week I have just been incredibly... active! I've done a bunch of stuff that I've been meaning to do for a while now: finished the chainmail spring winder and made some more chain, got Linux playing DVDs and installed a development kit that theoretically can be used to create games, went shopping last night and got some pots and dirt for my poor plants that have been living dying suffering in a gift basket that I got shortly after I moved in back in September.

( I also got groceries for the first time in months )
