Stuff Giveaway!

I have some furniture that I'm looking to get rid of in my upcoming move. At this point, I'm more concerned with getting rid of it and seeing that it makes it to a place where it will be used than with getting monetary compensation in exchange for it. I'll list a suggested donation (mainly to help defray my other moving expenses), but when it comes right down to it if you can haul it, you can have it.

It would be ideal if you could pick it up this Sunday morning, but if not we can make other arrangements. The items up for claiming are (so far) as follows: (I'll be posting dimensions this evening after I measure them)

• Two futons with metal frames [$25-$50 each]
  
• A small chest of drawers (three drawers in it, I think) [$10-$20]
  
• A breakfast table [$10]
  
• Four cushy chairs... not sure how else to describe them, will try to provide picture. [$20 for all of them]
  
• One Berber rug [$20-$30]

Please let me know ASAP if you're interested and when would work best for you to come get the items.

If the small chest of drawers can fit into a chevy cavalier, I'm quite interested...I have no other way to transport it though :(

It might not be pretty, but you could probably get it into the back seat. I'll get you dimensions tonight :)

I think we're actually all set for most things (I'm moving in with elkor and margoeve and they've got a full set of dishes and I also have a full set of dishes already from a similar thing happening the last time I moved... ;) That having been said, if there's anything you really want to get rid of, and it happens to be a style I particularly like and have room for... ^_^

Pretty isn't important; functionality is. Tom and I have *one* smallish four drawer dresser between us, and the bottom drawer is broken (I've had it since I was nine years old, which was ~mumblemumble~ years ago).

I think the stuff we're overly full on right now is just dishes, but if you come up with anything else that you need, put it up on LJ and if I have it & don't need it, it's yours.

You want people to pick it up on Saturday.

Otherwise if it is still there on Sunday, and they bail on you, you've got furniture to deal with.

This is all stuff that I can (and am willing to) drag down to the dumpsters by myself, if necessary--especially considering that due to its final destination I don't particularly care if it gets bent or scratched in the process.
