And I think that I like it... haven't had time to explore it too much yet, but I'll say that it's got some good potential. At least until the "Oooo, something shiny and new" factor wears off a little bit ;)

What's Portal???

It's at http://www.livejournal.com/portal/ but it might be something that's paying-members-only.

Basically it's a kind of LJ-central that lets you have a bunch of things on the same page for easy perusal (such as reminders, lets you know the most recent comments to your journal, gives account stats, etc.) Looks to be highly customizable, but I haven't really experimented with it yet.

Also, upon further perusal of the info about it, it looks like it's currently in beta testing, open to permanent and paid-account members only right now, but "We will open this up to free users once we are done monitoring server performance."
