I'm alive.
Camp was great. There were a few parts that were not so great, but those were largely because of my own actions/lack thereof, and now I know more things to be aware of down the road. The vast majority of the time, however, was spent making new friends and hanging out with really neat people and just relaxing.
One of my favorite parts was getting to spend most of it with
fortryll. I think (at least I hope!) that our relationship is stronger now than it was before we started the weekend, and that is a wonderful thing.
I think the biggest lesson that I learned from the universe was that the thing that I was most nervous about* ended up being one of the best experiences that I had all weekend. I am very glad that I decided to follow through with it (at every step, no less) and I'm grateful to everyone who supported me in facing my fears with it; they all had a hand in making it happen the way it did.
*Not to be confused with the other thing that I was nervous about in my previous post
