Urrrrggg...
Feb. 14th, 2007 08:03 amBetween the roads being varying degrees of treacherous and my sinuses being varying degrees of... treacherous, I'm thinking that a stay-home-and-take-care-of-myself day is in order. On the one hand, not getting paid for it is less than ideal, but on the other hand I probably wouldn't get a whole lot actually accomplished due to the cold, I might get my coworkers sick in the process, and the drive--while probably do-able--is much more stress than I want to deal with in my current state.
Be careful out there if you're going out.

Why not paid?
Date: 2007-02-14 02:22 pm (UTC)Many companies will let someone accrue negative leave (mine let's me go up to 10 days). Generally it's whatever your annual alotment is.
You should check with HR about it.
