I don't watch much TV; prior to getting cable it was pretty much limited to Startgate SG1 and Atlantis down at my friend Ryan's place on SciFi Fridays. Now, however, I have a box that can record somewhere between thirty and fifty hours of shows, and I've broadened my horizons. Not much, but a little. The main one that I am thinking of has had many good things said about it by friends of mine, and I've enjoyed the few episodes that I have seen. It's mildly cynical show on Comedy Central that likes to poke fun at current events. No, not South Park, though that is a good show as well. My new favorite is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Since I'm sick, I've used the time to watch some of the recordings that I'd made of it, and I loved it. If laughter is the best medicine, I'll be better in no time thanks to it ^_^

Cable is overpriced. I watch current SG-1s at Aaron's and every once in a while I see something on TLC at Jen's. You should see what DVDs they have at your library. We got seasons 1-7 of SG-1 from ours. At home, mom has gotten Babylon 5 (she likes it because it's cheesy), Alias (which she thought was too much drama), SG-1, Firefly, and more. You wait forever to get the disks, but free is worth it.

Library... I used to know what that was...

Might be time to re-discover them! :)
